Why do we call our soap ‘Barely Soap’? Well, it’s because it’s just barely soap.
When a soap contains more healing butters, oils, flowers and herbs than it contains actual ‘soap’. It’s Barely Soap.
Our soap bars are made of 40 Shea Butter and 20% Calendula balm oil base. This is the same concentrated oil infusion that I use to make my magical Calendula balm. Fresh, hand harvested heirloom Sunburst Calendula infused slowly with low heat into cold pressed Organic, Avocado, Sweet Almond and Coconut Oils. Fresh Chamomile lends it’s sweet fragrance and skin soothing magic Fresh Broadleaf Plantago adds yet another layer to the spectrum of herbal healing magic.
Our natural soap takes some effort to create a big fluffy lather. This is because it’s mostly moisturizer and not so much soap.
Research shows that exfoliating your skin to cleanse is much healthier for skin than washing with soaps or detergents. We add our own homestead grown luffa to each bar of soap to make sure your skin is cleansed by exfoliation.
Your skin will feel clean and moisturized after using our soap. There will be no squeaky clean feeling that only leads to dryer skin later. Only a luxurious coating of shea butter and healing herb infused oils is left on your skin.
This soap is truly my magical Calendula balm in soap form. Sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, dry skin will appreciate the love and care we put into crafting our all natural soaps. Completely natural, scented with natural flower essences. We use ONLY our own homestead grown herbs and flowers. Grown with absolutely NO pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Our herbs are harvested FRESH at the peak of ripeness. Our Calendula and Chamomile is harvested ONE flower at a time, each day at around 4pm when the warm sun has brought the healing plant components out to their peak.

I created this soap for myself. I wasn’t able to find TRULY natural, unscented, moisturizing, vegan soap for myself. I’m sensitive to any fragrances and have dry skin. I wanted a soap that I could use every day that wouldn’t dry my skin. I wanted a soap that I could use on my face too. I wanted a soap that was safe for my children, even the baby. I needed a soap that would heal eczema. I wanted to know EXACTLY what was in my soap. This soap was born from necessity. From that necessity, magic was born.
