Wizard of Oz Poppy
These red giants are a truly magnificent Papaver Somniferum variety. Under ideal conditions, plants can grow to over 6 foot tall with 10-20 flowers per plant with oblong egg sized pods. These fabled red giants are the same 'Scarlet Blooms' given to popularity from their mention in the book 'Opium For the Masses'.
Extremely limited quantity - Due to the wet spring we had in the Ozark, many varieties are in short supply this year and this is one of the most limited.
