My favorite bush beans because they are easy to spot against the green foliage. I’ve never been a fan of harvesting beans. It’s tedious work and these dark purple pods make it go faster. They are also willing to grow in cooler weather and resist mildew and mosaic disease better than other varieties of bush beans.
If you’re a beginner, new to gardening, this is a great bean to start with. If you’re a pro they are nice change up and bring color to your fall garden.
