Welcome Home Sage Smudge Stick Set

1 white sage wand and 1 mountain juniper wand

Handrolled Fresh to order, this blessed aromatic variety of sage is unsurpassed. Each set includes one Salvia Apiana (sacred white sage) smudge wand and one Mountain Juniper smudge wand. White Sage is grown in my organic garden and juniper harvested from the high mountains of central California. Each wand is rolled by hand just for your order.

Set includes a feather to spread the smoke in the traditional way. Sticks are 5-7” long and 1-3” wide. Size will vary due to the nature of handmade items.

You can expect a full sized wand that is most likely larger than any you’ve seen at the market.

The use of sage is for healing. The smoke is used to bless, cleanse and heal the person or object being smudged. Sage is used to 'wash off' the outside world when one enters ceremony or other sacred space. Objects are likewise washed off with sage medicine smoke to rid them of unwanted negativity.

Juniper is use after you’ve burned white sage to lighten and brighten the air.

The crisp, lemony aroma of a Mountain Juniper opens the eyes, awakens the spirit and dusts off negative the thoughts that have settled within the mind. It acts as a sort of spring cleaning for the soul. To get reacquainted with your most energetically alive self, employ the vibrant scent of Juniper leaves. In Native American cultures, Juniper was believed to protect against malign spirits and bad luck. Some tribes believed hanging a bundle of Juniper leaves above the entryway to the home blocked negative energy from entering. Also used in tea and medicine pouches, Juniper leaves have many sacred medicinal uses in Native American culture. Even during the Plague, burning Juniper was used in an effort to shield the non-infected from contracting the disease. This ancient, multicultural belief that a Juniper smudge stick holds protective powers, spawns from its invigorating, life-giving quality. It revives mind and ushers in a strength of spirit that blocks negative energy from entering.
